Additionally, CCXML creates a high-level industry standard for Call Control that can run over any telephony platform.
CallXML CallXML is an XML based markup language used to describe the user interface of a telephone, voice over IP, or multi-media call application to a CallXML browser. A CallXML browser can then use that description to control and react to the call itself.
