Software Maintenance and Extended Technical Support
For major and minor releases of software, Voxeo offers maintenance and support services (Software Maintenance).
Software Maintenance
Software Maintenance is typically provided for 36 months, starting with the general availability of the release. To receive Software Maintenance, a separate agreement between Voxeo and the licensee is required. This agreement typically includes:
- Technical Support (at an agreed upon level)
- Delivery of new major release and minor releases
- Delivery of updates (for example, revisions and patches)
- Support of metadata upgrades to newer major and minor releases
Extended Technical Support
Extended Technical Support can be obtained by signing a separate agreement before the end of the published Software Maintenance phase. It is provided for a maximum of an additional 24 months, starting with the end of the regular Software Maintenance and typically includes:
- Technical Support (at an agreed upon level)
- Delivery of revisions and patches
- Support of metadata upgrades to newer major releases and service packs
Product updates are only available for products that have not reached the end of the Software Maintenance or the Extended Technical Support phase. Updates are either revisions or patches.
